After the various chats about movies in other threads(Watchmen, Evil Dead, Wolverine) it appears we have some film buffs among us. Soooooo, to relieve our mind tanks after Jonni's crytpic musings I thought I'd start this thread for recommending/slating movies.
Recently I've seen Star Trek which, and I'm no Trekkie, is fkn ace. Highly recommended for a decent couple of hours entertainment.
I've got Saw 5 & a Spanish horror called The Dark Hour waiting for me at home. Anyone seen those? Any good?

I know what you mean. I weren't too keen when I first saw the trailer but I've seen it a few times now & well looking forward to it. And Transformers.

I've seen about half an hour of SAW I, and thought it was crap. Gore for gores sake not even remotely interesting. how they spun that out to 5 movies is beyond me.

I agree the first one's a bit dull but I thought they improved as they went on. As for gore for gores sake, Hostel (both of them) fall into that category and they're fkn awful films.

Wonder how many guys grimaced and went "oooooooooo" while crissing their legs when they saw that
