this is getting beyond a joke now whereby a certain band is creating multiple accounts in order to make enough posts thinking they will be able to vote.

If this continues, then said bands WILL BE EXCLUDED FROM THE VOTING PROCESS

Hello everyone,

We, DAMN DICE, are the reason of this post, and we would like to apologize to the organisation of the Hard Rock Hell Festival and to the other bands in competition which may have been offended and felt blamed because of us.

Indeed, we saw yesterday that we were selected to participate to the online contest, and therefore we asked to our close friends and our close fans on Facebook to create their own account and to vote for us and for the other bands they know and like.

As you know, to get your vote counted you have to be a regular forum member, so we also asked them to get involved in the forum by commenting and posting topics WITHOUT SPAMMING and CREATING FAKE ACCOUNTS.

Unfortunately, reading this post from Horny Toad, it seems like some of our fans or friends have created their own accounts and some fake ones as well, WE SWEAR IT WAS NOT US AND WASN'T WHAT WE ASKED FOR.

We really hope that we can still participate to the contest and if so, we ask to the organisation to delete the suspicious votes we received.

Once again, we are really sorry and we would like to apologize to everyone.

Just to let you know that any new accounts that sign up, be it friends family or whoever, will not be eligible to vote as they will not have been a part of the forum community long enough.

The voting is only for Dark Circle members, VETS (those that have been to 2 or more HRH events) or regular forum contributors (i.e. those that have been on here for some time and regularly post)

Hope that clears everything up
