Would love to see a Return from Malefice, Sylosis, ( I would have said Savage Messiah before they were billed) Five Finger Death Punch, Devildriver...

Sorry now I'm just naming the line up from HF2, Rise to Remain would also be a good return!

Hi guys, just to clear a few things up. We would love to honour the date at Hammer fest but due to the reasons for the split, we could not play the gig. We are as disappointed as you guys but unfortunately it can not be helped. It is no a "fuck you" to the fans, fans are what keeps bands like us alive.And you guys have done that ten fold for us and we can't thank you enough for that.

You could not play this gig due to the reasons behind the split...ok, fair enough but you could play one in London??? You see, that is why some people are think it's a bit of a 'fuck you...'.. I'm not saying it is but it does seem odd that you can play a show (London) you hadn't had planned before the split but can't play one you had (Hammerfest).

You may have noticed a two week difference between the date of our London show and the Hammerfest show...with out going into it further time was a massive issue in this split and organising a farewell gig. We could have done a Hammerfest gig with a slapped together version of "Anterior" but we were not happy doing that and I'm pretty sure the audience wouldn't have been either.
By the way, thanks to anyone who showed their support at any of our shows over the last ten years and thanks to everyone who got themselves down to the farewell show last friday (especially those who travelled from far afield ( if anyone knows the guys from New Jersey who came to see the show tell him he's a fucking legend!))

i saw anterior at bloodstock 09 and thought it was a cracking set, moonspell were on the main stage at the same time. but to be truthfull the band was never going to be the next big thing and perhaps anterior realise they have taken the band as far as they can go. the reality of real life has kicked in.
