Soldier and Overdrive don't ring any bells, but the others do. Seem to remember really good Friday Rock Show sessions from Gaskin and Chasar. It's going to take some exceptional Saturday afternoon Stage 2 band to drag me away from the Vic (still no Starfighters or Spider though - maybe next year?).

I'll be honest and say I've not heard anything by any of those but that's part of the fun sometimes. And it'll give me something to do while I'm signed off work :)

I've heard of a couple but not really familiar with them. But it's Saturday afternoon Vic stuff so no complaints from me. :)

Great news on Tytan, Gaskin were very good back in the day as well. Very nice selection there and may well be planted in the Vic myself.

Just been listening to 'More' and forgot how good they were, hope the lead singer doesn't swallow a bee like he did at Donnington.
:D

the pick of the bunch for me is more, tytan and overdrive. i saw most of the nwbhm bands at the bristol granary between 1978 and 1983, and more were the loudest band of the lot. if you saw the treatment at hrh5 they covered the more song road rocket. this must mean that vardis are on stage 1 or 2.

More are a great addition. They were a quality live act back in the day.
