I imagine it will take some recovery time from the DC lurgy this year as well. Our bodies will be massively run down and broken anyway............... ooooooo ready made excuse for people to potentially take a sicky on the wednesday after dragging their carcass into work and coughing over everyone on Tuesday :lol:

4 of us coming down from Manchester for all 4 days, Ole (Aka my wife Deb), Rev Drian (Aka as our son Adrian), his fiance Amy and myself,I am the good looking one with Hendrix style hair, beard,fringed jacket, patched Levis and a pint in my hand...................hold on a minute that was me 30 yrs ago, now balding, beer bellied, wearing glasses, but still always beer in hand (and still got the beard!)

Still can't believe it was 24 years ago today when I last saw Pink Floyd 08/08/88 at Maine Road Manchester!!!!

Well, I suppose the detoxing from the booze starts on Monday and by Tuesday I'll be detoxing from all the coffee I'll have to drink on Monday to be able to drive home. By Wednesday I'll just be feeling like crap :shock:

its not usually a detox i need, but i do get the after hrh depression, it does take me a week to get over what is usually a great weekend, the week after hrh i think about it all the time, coming down from a huge high and going back to everyday life is not something i"m good at.

I don't know about detoxing and the 'come down depression' after HRH. I'll have 3 weeks of Xmas parties, my birthday and another holiday to deal with.

Detoxing starts in January!

I have to admit thats something I've not experienced..........but I've not gone back to "everyday life" for about 20 years now
