We were left in the pit for the whole of Revamps set Only got the usual 3 songs for Epica though. Getting out was a challenge as the venue was packed out so around 1000 people crammed in there, so took a while to get from the pit to somewhere I could watch from (i.e the bar). Got Symphony X, and The Primitives to photograph next week (at the same time that I should really be trying to sort the photos from Hammerfest)

OK, got photos up now from a couple of gigs from last week, and also from Hammerfest. Symphony X: http://www.festivalphoto.net/index.php? ... rtID=18129The Primitives: http://www.festivalphoto.net/index.php? ... rtID=18154Hammerfest: http://www.festivalphoto.net/index.php? ... ivalID=917Hammerfest pics include Accept, Attica Rage, Beholder, Breed 77, Chthonic, Entombed, Furyon, Grand Magus, Holy Grail, Idiom, Jaguar, Mordecai, My Ruin, Never means maybe, Onslaught, Sabaton, Satyricon, Sylosis, The Treatment, Triaxis, Turisas, and Wolf. Also a "festival life" section - i.e. pics of people etc. Sadly festivalphoto seems to be playing up this evening, so links/images may not work

I've used my 70-200 at several small club shows and it works a treat. I don't take it to HRH as I'd worry about it too much!!!!

f1.4 is a nightmare. Can get some great shots with it when the light is crap, but the depth of field is so shallow that trying to get photos of bands that move around a lot is practically impossible
