very good point ATP, merge HRH and Hammerfest for the December slot, and give us oldies better weather in March for a AOR/Melodic rock/Prog festival.
Woody, ive known Mark for the best part of 20 years, he can be his own worst enemy at times, after the initial succeess with Zrock, meant he became a very difficult person to work with, he has changed now, but he still carries that baggage around with him, some people have very long memories.
Mainly Now and Then records :P

I would be well up for a Melodic Rock festival as this would involve the sleazier and bluesier side of Hard Rock.I thought last years HRH was a great line up for this but this years is a bit meh for me.There are a few bands i want to see including one or two of the heavier bands but would rather watch a load of AOR bands im not particularly into than heavy bands that growl.Personally i think that all that needs to happen is heavy bands play HF and lighter bands play HRH then everyones happy (apart from Compostcorner and Black crow probably :P  ).

Good stuff that Woody, sounds like it comes from 'Treats' 'Coup de Grace' album.

Treat would be just the sort of band we need.

Both the AOR and Prog sound great but personally id prefer a dedicated stage to them at HRH and Hammerfest. maybe a prog metal / rock at Hammerfest and AOR at hrh rather than another 2 dedicated events(ifs that what happens). because if it does i may as well get my wages paid straight into CHICS bank account

for all we know that could indeed be Johnni's plan elgie, have a second stage at HRH dedicated to AOR one day and Prog another and keep the mainstage eclectic....

personally i WANT a dedciated melodic rock festival over two days with a small Friday night affair to ease the liver into the weekend's activities......8-9 bands a day with 3 on the Friday.....make it so Johnni!....

*COUGH* VEGA.....
