I felt there was something not quite right about the wording " we have a singer ", it seem a strange choice of words, now we know why, anyway good luck in your other band :D

Cheers Shake.

Like i said I didn't want to air dirty laundry in public, as it's unprofessional and looks bad. But I felt really put out by the treatment I received from that one particular band member, so felt the need to set the record straight. I will still continue to support Snake Eyes in whatever they do despite this, and I'll be really happy for them to get to HRH as the other members in the band deserve that chance.

If you're interested tho, my other band are sharing a stage with Wolf, Arthemis, Onslaught, and members of Saxon on the 25th september at the Walthamstowe Standard, Blackhorse Road, London, E17. You can get tickets from the Dean Guitars/DDrum website.

Anyways, i digress from the core subject here. Best of luck to Snake Eyes in October, hope you get through. :)

No problems on the wording as far as I'm concerned. You put it very eloquently without resorting to name calling and personal abuse. Sorry to hear about the way this arose. As you say, its best to move on and don't carry any form of resentment with you otherwise it drags you down. Good luck with your band by the way.

That could be a problem since I'm not going... get a receipt and I'll reimburse you at HRH :P

I feel your pain and commend your pragmatism. I saw all the correspondence and the promoter is none too happy at being "called a liar" or that your name was so un-fairly dragged through the mud. But I too shall continue to support Snake Eyes and hope they do well at the finals and get to play HRH. As you say, they deserve that chance.

It was great to see you at the gig btw...can't wait to see the footage of you joining Ghost Train to sing Wild Child with them^_^
and a fantastic time was had by all regardless :D
