Last year it was 6 must sees and 13 new bands. Of the 6 must see, I was really disappointed with 2 of them.
Part of the attraction for me is seeing bands that I have never heard of before.
I also agree, that what really makes HRH is the atmosphere and the people. And the parties back in the chalet till 5:00am.
If anyone finds that they are staying near the 3 chalets flying the Jersey flags. My apologies in advance for any noise that we will be making. What Chalet number are you as if you are near us...there won't be a problem cos we will drown you out!!!! I love a challenge.

Well i'm sure there are people here that think the line-up this year is fantastic, so I will not knock them, but in truth I think an awful lot of people here are missing the point about the various complaints from people about the line-up, it's not so much the fact that other line-ups have necessarily been of better quality though admittedly I personally think they have been, it's more to do with the fact that other years have had a larger portion of bands where the entire audience is familiar with the entire back catalogue,
We all have our favourite bands but generally most of the time the atmosphere is always best when the arenas are packed out with people who are all singing every word of every song, i'm not a massive fan of wasp/black label society or uriah heep but I enjoyed the sets all the same because the atmosphere was great and after a few drinks (well roughly 15-20 pints) even I found myself drunkenly mumbling along, by that same token i'm a massive fan of some of the nwobhm bands and didnt enjoy them as much due to the fact very few people knew the tunes and the atmosphere wasn't as good
