Loads of great shows over the weekend..... MM,Therapy?, G.O.D.S, Amorettes, SSS, Warbringer and many more. Special mention for The Sanity days tho for a brilliant and nostalgic set. Everyone there (which wasnt so many unfortunatly) felt like a kid in a sweet shop hearing those songs after 20 odd years!

I didn't know much at all of Michael Monroe, but his highly energetic and entertaining set made me an instant fan.

Magnum - classy and polished as always.

Therapy ? - funny and good, I do wish they'd played "Bad Excuse For Daylight" or "Diane" or another slower track just to shake up the set though.

Quireboys and BSC were excellent, Voodoo Six, Wolfsbane and Kobra and the Lotus all good.

Talking of Mike Monroe, hats off to him for getting the security staff/bouncers/whatever they're called to stand down and let people enjoy them selves. What was the story with them? Every time someone jumped about a bit that bloody woman's head popped up, quickly followed by the rest of them.

Well, when he first said about it, it was because some guy jumped around a little bit too much and dropped his glasses, prompting him to try and push everyone out the way, and causing attention. Shortly after that, Michael Monroe gave me a high five! :D

Band of the weekend- Lizzy Borden. More than satisified my theatrical thirst, and killing it musically as well. Can't believe they opened with Tomorrow Never Comes!

Non band highlight- Meeting all of you nutters! (and Ace Finchum)

Actually my understanding of that incident was that his glasses had been knocked off his face whilst he was being a total tool. He was drinking from a can and the security kept asking him to drink from the plastic glasses that they were passing over to him. He responded by offering them a middle finger and throwing the glass over his head, catching me in the face. This then happened a second time, this time the glass catching the fellow standing in front of me in the head.

I think that may have initiated a little shoving in which his spectacles became detached from his face, to which he became rather aggressive towards all who were standing around him. It was just about to kick off when Mr Monroe came over, and I thought quite superbly diffused the situation.

TYKETTO for me(Danny Vaughn what a voice!!)!! Was so worth getting home at 4.15am to see their set!!!
Didnt see a bad band all day and was suprised how much i enjoyed Reckless Love yes they aint inventing music but what they do they do well and its fun!!!!!!!
Thought putting the Quireboys on the main stage was a great choice as they really got the party started there for me!!!

I cant select one artist so here are my faves in no particular order (that my beer addled mind can remember)
Tyketto, Quireboys, Bonafide, Lizzy Borden, Million Dollar Reload, Therapy? Pat Mcmanus and Michael Monroe

I wasnt disappointed by any band I watched over the weekend and I am already looking forward to next year.
