Need to be in midlands on 19th May so I'll probably head along. £45 for a tribute band is about the going rate these days

I've got the pre-sale info from Nottm Arena if anyone wants it - I'm not bothered about going myself

If there are still tickets available nearer the time and I've got £45 burning a hole in my pocket I may consider it, but I'm not holding my breath.

This from the Classic Rock website cracked me up....

Far be it for us to deter you from seeing GN’R, but we would be failing in our duty if we didn’t point you in the direction of this review of this show last week at the Filmore Silver Spring, Maryland.

The Washington Post reported:

“Where did these guys even find the gall to call themselves Guns N’ Roses?

“To call it a train wreck wouldn’t be right. Train wrecks are fast and violent. This was like being stuck in gridlock traffic behind a garbage truck in August.

“For three torturous hours, the guys sucked the life force from some of the most anthemic rock songs ever written. It wasn’t a rock concert. It was a hostage situation.”

I was in two minds about whether to go to the Nottingham gig or not.... until I popped up to Tiger's and she read that review to me! Not sure I'll bother now.
