For those of you coming by car it's a pretty straight forward route. Just tootle on past the Prestatyn turn off then leave the A55 on the Caernarfon turn off. Get yourselves onto the A487 and it's plain sailing from there. It's a single-lane road but not a bad one and if you get stuck behind a tractor take in the scenery, it's stunning. Maybe buses will be sorted out to ferry people from Bangor station to Pwllheli or something similar, who knows. It's still early days. The place is a vast improvement on Pontins though, isn't that what people were after?

The sad truth is Jonni and co cannot get a venue that is exactly ten minutes from EVERYONE'S front door. So you have to travel a bit longer....think of the folk who live further than you do from Prestatyn and have never moaned.

Just by virtue of the location it is going to be further for MOST people though isn't it?

Arriving via National Express from Cambridge 09:20 - Pwllheli 20:35 Leaving Pwllheli 07:30 - Cambridge 18:30
Change at Birmingham
Not there this year and this currently doesn't look good for the future.

But if you think of the north/south divide of the Uk then it's a pretty even split for everyone.

Its irespecitive of the north south divide - my point was that most people in the UK (north or south) are going to have to head past Prestatyn to get to the new place - making it longer for most people.........

We'll be heading over from Stoke, probably 3 hrs to Pwllheli compared to 90 or so minutes for Prestatyn.
Just glad we aren't relying on coaches and trains some of those journeys are staggering

The new venue is great, taken the family on holiday to Haven and would never even consider doing that to Pontins.
Ok its a bit of a longer journey but then in 4 weeks time I'll be spending nearly two days travelling to get to Nicklesdorf for Nova Rocks and we're doing that instead of going to Download which would take me about 2 hours to get to.
