Hi guys. I thought I would do a little bit of research / homework tonight and having dusted off my large box of CD's that has been hidden in the loft for the last 20 years, I happened upon some old LA Guns stuff.
I have then discovered that there now appears to be 2 bands both under the LA Guns name. One headed by Tracii Guns, the other by Phil Lewis. Further research has only confused me further....
so my questions are:
1) which band is appearing at HRH6? 2) which (recent) albums are by which version of the band?

Only the Phil Lewis ones are any good imo, recent releases are Man in the Moon, Waking the Dead and Tales From the Strip(the best one). They are just about to release a new one called Hollywood Forever

Although the Tracii Guns version that played at HRH IV weren't bad....
Better than I expected anyway (and I think they had Jizzy Pearl with the?)

......and there are only 2 LA Guns albums (studio) that don't have Tracii Guns on guitar: Tales From the Strip and Hollywood Forever (out in a couple of weeks) The Tracii version released an unplugged album recently but no studio albums (and it seems that he has decided to give up using the name from now on....)
